Job summary

Comfort Keepers San Diego is hiring compassionate caregivers to help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home. You’ll provide one-on-one care with a focus on companionship, daily living activities, and safety.

Training and ongoing development are provided, and positions include part-time and full-time opportunities in San Diego County. Pay ranges from $18.50 to $25.00 per hour, with weekly pay, mileage reimbursement, and a benefits package for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and transfers.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with transportation to appointments and errands.
• Support clients living with dementia or other cognitive/behavioral health challenges.
• Observe and report changes in a client’s condition.
• Communicate with the care team to ensure client needs are met.
