Job summary

Homewatch CareGivers Long Beach Torrance is hiring in-home caregivers to provide compassionate, client-centered care. You will support activities of daily living, maintain the client’s home environment, and keep them engaged with the community. A strong caregiver–client relationship is essential.

Join a team with a flexible schedule, 24/7 support staff, and a mobile app to manage schedules, care plans, and family communication. Training, advancement opportunities, and paid time off are available.

Qualifications

• Home Care Aide Registry (HCA) – we can assist you with this process if needed.
• Experience as a caregiver in a home care setting, community living, or skilled nursing facility.
• TB screening or clear chest X-ray.
• Must meet quality standards of care and follow standard procedures with the care team.
• Available 10–40 hours per week with some weekend work.
• Reliable transportation to different clients throughout the week including weekends.
• Able to bend, climb, stoop, and stand ~5 hours per day.
• Able to lift 20–30 pounds and use tools necessary for job.
• We are open to applicants from Caregivers, Medical, CNA, Nursing, Hospitality, etc.

Responsibilities

• Foster an in-depth connected relationship within the home care environment.
• Use CareGiver mobile app to track work schedule, shift responsibilities, and office communication.
• Provide full scope of interaction with the client, assist with daily living activities, maintain home environment, and keep clients engaged with the outside world.
