As a caregiver with A Place At Home, you will help seniors and veterans stay safe, healthy, comfortable, and independent at home, providing non-medical support, companionship, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior care, elderly care, or veteran care preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently.
• Flexible schedule and adaptability to client needs.
• Must meet California Home Care Aide (HCA) requirements.
• Agree to Background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate non-medical in-home care
• Assist with ADLs/IADLs, personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)
• Medication reminders
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Assist with mobility and safe transfers (training provided)
• Support transportation needs for appointments and errands
• Help with light housekeeping and meal prep
• Build trusting relationships with clients and families
• Follow personalized care plans and communicate updates with the care team
