Job summary

A Place At Home in Yorba Linda, CA is seeking experienced In-Home Caregivers to serve seniors and veterans in the surrounding area. Join a team dedicated to compassion, dignity, and respect as you help clients stay safe, healthy, comfortable, and independent in their homes.

As a caregiver, you will provide non-medical care, assist with daily activities, offer companionship, and support mobility, transportation, and light housekeeping. California HCA requirements apply; background check required.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior, elderly, or veteran care preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Caregiver Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate non-medical in-home care

• Assist with ADLs/IADLs, personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)

• Medication reminders

• Offer companionship and emotional support

• Assist with mobility and safe transfers (training provided)

• Support transportation needs for appointments and errands

• Help with light housekeeping and meal prep

• Build trusting relationships with clients and families

• Follow personalized care plans and communicate updates with the care team

Qualifications

• Experience in senior care, elderly care, or veteran care preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor

• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

• Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently

• Flexible schedule and adaptability to client needs

• Must meet California Home Care Aide (HCA) requirements

• Agree to Background check
