Job summary

Right at Home Northwest Suburban is hiring caring professionals to support seniors and disabled adults in their homes across the Northwest Suburban area. You will work independently in clients’ homes, with strong office support and guidance from field supervision.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, ongoing training, and a pay range of $18–$21 per hour, with final compensation discussed at offer. This role emphasizes dignity, safety, and compassionate, client-centered care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional caregiving experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Passion for helping seniors and adults with disabilities.
• Reliable transportation.
• Patience, compassion, and strong communication skills.
• Experience with memory care or cognitive impairments.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, meals)
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Monitor client health and document changes
• Assist with mobility and physical activities
• Administer medications as directed
• Engage clients with memory care activities and routines
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe home environment
• Work closely with healthcare teams to implement care plans
• Provide specialized care for hospice and group home settings
