Job summary

Healthcare Plus in McHenry County, IL seeks caring caregivers to assist clients at home with daily activities, provide companionship, and ensure well-being. You will help with bathing, dressing, meal prep, reminders, and transportation as needed, supporting a safe and comfortable home environment.

We value empathy, reliability, and communication, and offer flexible scheduling within a supportive team. Prior caregiving is a plus, but not required; training is provided to new hires.

Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, or Letter of Experience required.
Compassionate and empathetic attitude.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Reliable and trustworthy.
Previous caregiving experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Assist with meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.
Accompany clients to appointments and run errands.
Monitor clients' health and report changes to the care team.
Follow company policies and healthcare regulations.
