Job summary

Community Horizons L.L.C. in Wisconsin Rapids is seeking a compassionate caregiver to assist a male member in his home on a backup/on-call basis. You will provide personal care, help with transfers, meals, and companionship to promote independence, safety, and well-being in a home setting.

Experience is helpful but not required; on-site training will be provided. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred to support mobility and errands.

• Comfortable assisting someone with MS (or open to learning).
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Experience is helpful but not required— the right attitude matters most. On-site training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist with one-person transfers in and out of bed.
• Provide toilet assistance as needed.
• Assist with showering and personal hygiene when necessary, including care if the member has been soiled.
• Help warm up and serve meals.
• Provide companionship and support while ensuring the member's comfort and safety.
