Job summary

Namaste Home Care seeks an in-home caregiver to provide nonmedical support in clients’ homes and communities, helping with daily living tasks and safety. You will work within a care plan, assist with ADLs and IADLs, and ensure compassionate, respectful service.

You will document activities, coordinate with the care team, and provide companionship while maintaining privacy and client rights. A valid license and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and able to follow care plan.
• Excellent customer service and listening skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication; read/write clear English.
• Able to pass background checks and drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ambulation, hygiene, meals, light housekeeping within 20% of time.
• Provide companionship and social engagement to clients.
• Follow written care plans and report to Supervisor.
• Observe clients and report changes in condition.
• Complete daily activity notes and documentation.
