Life Unlimited, Inc. is seeking an In-Home Personal Care Attendant (PCA) in Maryville, MO to provide caregiving and personal care services to individuals with disabilities in their homes. The role emphasizes compassionate support, daily living tasks, and maintaining participant safety.

You will perform cleaning, meal preparation, bathing assistance, record-keeping, and report issues to your supervisor. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, six months of care experience, English

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or commitment to obtain HiSet or GED.
• Six months of experience as a care provider, CNA, housekeeper, or household worker, or one year of experience caring for children, sick or elderly individuals.
• Ability to perform a variety of cleaning tasks and mobility to negotiate obstacles in client homes.
• Ability to assess problems related to care plan and report to supervisor or RN consultant.
• Ability to adhere to OSHA safety protocols related to occupational exposure to blood or other infectious material.
• Must have access to mobile apps on a cell phone.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English – both in writing and orally.
• Must not have been convicted of any disqualifying misdemeanor or felony and must not have been substantiated for abuse or neglect in the state of Missouri, as recorded by the Department of Mental Health’s Employee Disqualification List.
• Must demonstrate safe practices in all areas and exemplify positive professional standards.
• Must Receive Seasonal Flu Vaccination

Responsabilités

• Provide cleaning services including vacuuming, dusting, dishes, appliance care, errands and laundering for clients.
• Provide personal care services including hair care, bathing assistance, and meal preparation.
• Maintain records of service delivery including time sheets and calendars.
• Report problems related to the participant or plan of care to supervisor.
• Complete required hours of continued training annually to meet state eligibility guidelines.
