Job summary

ComForCare Home Care - Jackson/Adrian/Hillsdale is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to join our Adrian, MI team. You will provide in-home personal care tailored to each client, promoting independence and dignity.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, offering companionship, light housekeeping, transportation, and supporting clients during medical appointments, all while following individualized care plans. A positive attitude and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving experience preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation and driver's license.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
• Help with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
• Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or condition to supervisors
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed
• Accompany clients to medical appointments and errands
• Follow individualized care plans to ensure consistent, high-quality personal care
