Job summary

ComForCare Home Care - Jackson/Adrian/Hillsdale is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to join our Jackson, MI team. You will provide personalized, in-home care that promotes independence and dignity for our clients.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, offering companionship, light housekeeping and meal prep, monitoring health changes, and accompanying clients to appointments.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Home Health Aide, Caregiver, CNA, or in a related caregiving role preferred.
• Genuine compassion and patience when working with elderly or disabled individuals.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.
• Help with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or condition to supervisors.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments and errands.
• Follow individualized care plans to ensure consistent, high-quality personal care.
