Job summary

Fidelity Memorial Group Corp (FMG) is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support field locations and corporate staff, handling employee relations, compliance, and performance management. This role acts as the Subject Matter Expert in Payroll, Recruiting and/or Benefits Management for a licensed professional and staff workforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive HR Generalist experience, with payroll/recruiting/benefits focus.
• Experience with HRIS (PayChex Flex, Paylocity, ADP) and Google Workspace.
• Strong emotional intelligence, empathy, and ability to handle confidential information.
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding & Offboarding: ensure smooth onboarding/offboarding and compliance training.
• Employee Relations: serve as advisor on performance improvement and disciplinary actions.
• Industry Compliance: ensure HR practices comply with labor laws and industry regulations.
• Performance Management: assist with annual reviews and development plans.
• Payroll Focus: process bi-weekly multi-state payroll and tax compliance with vendor support.
• Full-Cycle Recruiting: manage end-to-end hiring and licensing verification.
• Benefits Administration: manage health, dental, vision, life, and 401(k) plans.
