Water's Edge Center for Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean, healing environment for residents and staff. This entry-level position offers meaningful work, training, and opportunities for professional growth within a supportive team.

You will perform daily cleaning, support infection control, and collaborate with staff to ensure safety and comfort for residents, families, and colleagues at our Middletown, CT location.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and comprehension of English are required.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing common areas and resident rooms.
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
• Dispose of trash and waste.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with other staff members to maintain a safe and organized environment.
• Respond promptly to housekeeping requests from residents and staff.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as buffing machines, vacuums, etc.
