The Alden Network is seeking a dependable Housekeeping staff member to manage day-to-day tasks in accordance with facility policies and regulations. The role emphasizes cleanliness, safety, and respectful interaction with residents and staff.

Responsibilities include following cleaning schedules, maintaining proper supplies, and participating in orientation and ongoing training to ensure high standards of service and infection control.

Qualifications

• Must have high school education or equivalent.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
• Ability to interact tactfully with residents, families, visitors and staff.
• Must be able to work well with others and maintain a friendly attitude.
• Patience, tact and enthusiasm are essential.

Responsibilities

• Follow housekeeping policies and dress code.
• Maintain cleaning schedules and daily routines.
• Create a warm, safe, and calm department environment.
• Participate in in-service education and orientation of new staff.
• Order and manage supplies; label and handle chemicals with MSDS compliance.
• Report accidents and contribute to Quality Assurance initiatives.
• Attend staff meetings and perform related duties as assigned.
