Job summary

Brethren Care Village in Ashland, OH is seeking a Housekeeping Aide to maintain clean resident rooms and common areas. You will follow infection control practices and ensure floors are hazard-free, while handling laundry duties and other assigned tasks.

The role offers Full Time daytime hours (7am–3:30pm) and Part Time daytime shifts (7am–1pm). Prior cleaning experience is welcomed but not required; a high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Professional cleaning experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans resident rooms and other assigned areas.
• Performs daily tasks in accordance with infection control and universal precaution policies and procedures.
• Assures that floors are free of hazardous debris.
• Performa tasks such as washing over-the-bed lights, pictures and objects on walls, wall washing, baseboards, etc. as assigned.
• Washes, dries, sorts, folds, and delivers residents personal laundry.
• Performs daily tasks in accordance with infection control and universal precaution policies and procedures.
• Maintains work area in clean and orderly manner.
• Other duties as assigned.
