Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in the primary language of residents.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Must demonstrate an interest in working with a senior population.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning duties in apartment homes, common areas, lounges and offices according to schedule.
• Sweeps, dusts, mops, and vacuums floors, rugs, and runners; rotates runners in halls.
• Cleans, sanitizes, and polishes lavatory and shower fixtures; restocks dispensers.
• Scrubs tiles, woodwork, window frames, and sills; maintains supplies.
• Maintains equipment and reports repairs or supply needs to Lead Housekeeper.
• Collects trash, aids with community laundry, and keeps areas safe and clean.
