Job summary

Covenant Living is seeking a Housekeeper to provide campus cleaning and minor maintenance across the retirement community. The role supports residents and staff, ensuring facilities are in good condition and well maintained.

The ideal candidate has some high school education, housekeeping or maintenance experience, and the ability to communicate clearly in English. Weekend availability may be required as part of the role and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Housekeeping and/or general maintenance experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbal and written.
• Dependability and common sense, ability to organize daily cleaning schedule.
• Interest in and desire to work with older adults is preferred.
• Weekend availability may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning functions in assigned areas following schedule and infection control guidelines.
• Complete minor maintenance including light bulbs, plunging toilets, and changing batteries.
• Move furniture as needed and assist in resident moves.
• Participate in the campus linen program and in bed making.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report needed repairs to facilities.
