Job summary

Bedford Care Center is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to perform daily duties inside and outside the facility under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor. The role supports a clean, safe environment for residents and staff.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors, bathrooms, and common areas, and coordinating with other departments to meet residents' needs. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and pass background checks is required. Competitive benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write at a level necessary to understand Company Policies, applicable Laws and Regulations regarding job duties.
• Prefer previous Housekeeping experience in a long-term care Facility.
• Must be in good physical condition and able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must pass drug screens and have a satisfactory Criminal History Background Check

Responsibilities

• Sweeps, dust mops, damp/wet mops floors in hallways, offices and common areas daily.
• Cleans soiled areas, empties trash cans, replaces can liners, cleans bathrooms, sinks, toilets and other areas.
• Keeps equipment and work areas clean, safe organized and keeps equipment and supplies properly stored.
• Communicates courteously with staff in other Departments to adequately meet the needs of the Residents
