Tradewater Health & Rehab, part of a locally owned nursing home group in Western Kentucky, is seeking a dependable housekeeping and laundry aide. The role supports resident comfort by maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within a skilled nursing facility.

The position is part-time, with responsibilities spanning room cleaning, laundry duties, and adherence to infection control standards, while collaborating with nursing and facility staff to ensure resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, cleaning, or laundry experience preferred (not required).
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work assigned shifts.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, and lifting.
• Commitment to providing a clean, safe environment for residents.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas in a nursing home setting.
• Perform laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and clothing.
• Follow proper infection control and sanitation procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness standards in accordance with healthcare regulations.
• Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment.
