The Gardens of Pamlico in Grantsboro, NC is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to keep resident rooms and common areas clean, safe, and welcoming.

You will handle laundry, waste disposal, and supply restocking while collaborating with a caring team to support residents and maintain high sanitation standards throughout the facility.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, reliable, and compassionate about elderly care, with a willingness to work varying shifts and follow established safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products and safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, and restrooms.
• Assist with washing, folding, and distributing laundry for residents and staff.
• Dispose of trash and recycling, ensuring waste areas are clean and organized.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment; notify management of shortages.
• Follow safety and sanitation protocols to protect residents and staff.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure a well-maintained facility.
• Engage with residents in a friendly and respectful manner.
