Promises/The Right Step in Houston, TX is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a sanitary, safe, and welcoming environment for clients and staff. You will assist with preparing special events and ensure rooms and common areas are clean and well-stocked.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of housekeeping experience in similar facilities and hold CPR/First Aid certification or obtain it within the mandated timeframe. Flexibility for evening and weekend shifts is required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of housekeeping experience in a similar facility.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or must be obtained within state-mandated timeframe after hire.
• Ability to maintain clean, sanitary environments and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean client rooms and other assigned areas daily, including trash removal, changing linens, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Replenish supplies and/or linen in client rooms as necessary.
• Maintain housekeeping carts and equipment in clean, working condition and store properly after shift.
• Ensure proper sanitation of all equipment as required.
• Follow standard precautions using PPE as required.
• Be available for alternate, evening and weekend schedules to meet client needs and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain professional boundaries with clients and referral sources.
• Comply with company code of conduct.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
