Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean and safe environment within a long-term care facility. You will perform daily cleaning of resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas while adhering to infection control guidelines and safety procedures.

You will interact positively with residents and staff, report maintenance issues, and assist with various duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Must follow safety and infection-control procedures.
• Residency within the service area required.
• COVID-19 vaccination policies compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks in resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Ensure sanitation following established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions.
• Interact positively with residents, staff and guests, providing courteous service.
• All other duties as assigned.
