Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Housekeeper to help maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility.

You will perform daily cleaning tasks in resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas while following established procedures to ensure safety and quality of care. This role emphasizes positive interactions with residents and staff, adherence to infection control policies, and reliability to support the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks in resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas and offices.
• Ensure cleaning and sanitation following established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests and provide excellent service.
• All other duties as assigned.
