Job summary

Reading Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to provide nursing support under the supervision of a registered nurse. This role includes assisting with daily living activities, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining clean patient areas.

Qualifications

• Direct patient care experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, toileting, dressing, etc.).
• Perform light housekeeping in patient rooms and surrounding areas.
• Record and document patient care interactions in electronic medical records.
• Review patient care plans with the assigned RN and assist with patient flow and discharges.
