Job summary

Arnot Health is seeking a dedicated environmental services worker to maintain a clean and sanitary hospital environment across its Southern Tier NY facilities. You will perform dusting, mopping, scrubbing and operate floor machines as required to support patient care and safety.

Responsibilities include moving equipment, delivering supplies, handling linen, and ensuring cleanliness in all areas including morgue post-autopsy cleanups if needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand verbal and written instructions.
• High school diploma preferred.
• N/A Licensure/Certifications

Responsibilities

• Cleans and services hospital areas in an orderly and sanitary manner.
• Moves furniture, equipment and supplies as needed.
• Loads linen and transports soiled items to designated areas.
• Delivers linen and supplies to scheduled locations and times.
• Performs all functions related to linen processes.
• Cleans the Morgue after an autopsy has been performed and the major portion has been cleaned.
