Work hours total 20 per week with a MON-SUN rotation. Starting pay ranges from $17.00 to $22.10 per hour, and a strong commitment to safe, sanitary operations is required.

Qualifications

Summary

Performs a variety of cleaning techniques including dusting, mopping, scrubbing and the use of heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and services Arnot Health areas, moves furniture, equipment and supplies in and around the hospital in an orderly and sanitary manner.
• Must be able to transport and set up furniture for meetings, run small extractors, floor machines and small burnishers.
• Loads linen and microfiber carts and bins to predetermined par levels and completes deliveries at scheduled times.
• Completes all functions associated with the linen processes.
• Collects soiled linen and soiled microfiber products from designated areas and delivers to the soiled holding area.
• Completes all functions associated with the soiled linen processes.
• Must be able to clean the Morgue after an autopsy has been performed and the major portion has been cleaned.

Minimum Qualifications

Must be able to read and understand both verbal and written instructions.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Required to be on feet much of time. Reaching, bending, stooping and lifting.
