Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice & In-Home Euthanasia in Fort Lauderdale area seeks compassionate veterinarians to provide end-of-life care in clients' homes. You will practice independently on the road, ensuring dignified, gentle euthanasia when needed, with ongoing mentorship and wellbeing support from day one.

Choose a schedule that fits your life: 5-day full-time with base salary $150,000 plus quarterly bonuses, 4-day full-time starting at $110,000, and prorated/self-managed options.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS degree from an accredited school.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unaided and up to 90 lbs with assistance.
• Background check and license verification required before start.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate in-home hospice and euthanasia care.
• Practice medicine independently on the road with mentorship available.
• Address families' questions with kindness and dignity.
• Care for grieving families and support them during end-of-life moments.
