Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking compassionate veterinarians to provide in-home end-of-life care and euthanasia across Sacramento, Davis and surrounding California communities. You’ll practice independently on the road with strong mentorship, delivering dignity and peace to families in their homes.

Choose a schedule that suits your life—5-day, 4-day, or 2–3 day/self-managed options—with guaranteed base salary plus quarterly bonuses.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS degree required.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License required.
• Ability to work weekends on your terms.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate end-of-life veterinary care in home settings.
• Practice medicine independently on the road with mentor support.
• Participate in a schedule that fits life and family commitments.
