Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice offers compassionate in-home hospice and euthanasia services, with a schedule built around your life. Veterinarians work independently on the road, delivering dignified end-of-life care in clients' homes, supported by onboarding and mentorship from a caring team.

We emphasize gentle, paced care without typical clinic pressures, and offer generous base salary with quarterly bonus opportunities in Orange County and surrounding areas in California.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS required and licensed.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.
• Flexible weekend scheduling with option to choose 4 weekend days per month.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-of-life care in-home, including hospice and euthanasia services.
• Practice medicine independently on the road with mentorship and support from a team.
• Spend time with families in their homes, answering questions with kindness and empathy.
