Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice in Maryland seeks a compassionate Veterinarian to provide in-home end‑of‑life care across Ellicott City, Columbia, Catonsville and surrounding areas. You’ll work on the road, delivering dignity and empathy to families in their homes.

You’ll join a team that supports you with onboarding, mentorship, and a schedule designed around your life, with competitive base pay and bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) required.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License.
• Weekend scheduling flexibility available.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home end-of-life veterinary care and hospice services.
• Offer compassionate guidance to families and discuss treatment options.
• Perform veterinary medical procedures as needed in home settings.
