Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice seeks compassionate veterinarians to perform in-home euthanasia and end-of-life care. You will visit families in Perry Hall, White Marsh, Nottingham and Rosedale, providing empathetic support, medical care, and clear guidance.

The role emphasizes independent practice with strong team mentorship and a humane schedule. The position offers flexible full-time and part-time arrangements, including 4- and 5-day weeks, with generous PTO, benefits, and a robust bonus structure.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS degree required.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.
• License verification, background check, and driving record review prior to start.
• Weekends on your terms.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate end-of-life care in patients' homes.
• Conduct in-home euthanasia with dignity and empathy.
• Schedule management with 2–5 day work weeks and self-managed options.
• Mentorship and support from experienced colleagues.
