Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking compassionate veterinarians to provide in-home end-of-life care across Washington state. You’ll practice medicine on the road, visiting families in Tacoma, Auburn, Puyallup, Kent, Federal Way, Renton, SeaTac and surrounding areas, with a schedule built around your life.

Qualifications

• DVM required for the role.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License is required.
• Flexible weekend scheduling to fit family plans.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and 90 lbs with assistance.
• License verification, background check, and driving record review will be completed before start.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate in-home hospice care to pets.
• Communicate with families during end-of-life conversations with empathy and clarity.
• Maintain detailed notes and coordinate travel to client homes.
