Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking compassionate veterinarians to practice end-of-life care on the road across Tacoma, Auburn, Puyallup, Kent, Federal Way, Renton and SeaTac. You will provide gentle hospice and in-home euthanasia, spending meaningful time with families in their homes.

Work independently with strong team support, enjoying flexible scheduling and mentorship from day one. Competitive salary with bonuses and comprehensive benefits, without non-compete constraints.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine required (DVM/VMD/BVMS).
• Valid U.S. Driver's License.
• Weekend availability or adjustable weekends per month.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.
• Background check, license verification, and driving record review prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate in-home euthanasia and hospice care to pets.
• Practice medicine with time for families, not rushed.
• Travel to client homes across listed WA cities.
• Mentor and support from a team; onboarding and ongoing growth.
