Job summary
Heartstrings Pet Hospice, In-Home Euthanasia & Aftercare is seeking a compassionate veterinarian to provide in-home hospice and euthanasia services across Washington state. You’ll travel to families’ homes, delivering care with patience, listening closely to families, and offering gentle guidance during end-of-life moments.
We offer a supportive team, ongoing training, and a schedule designed around your life, including weekends by choice.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) required.
- Valid U.S. Driver's License required.
- Weekends on your terms.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.
- License verification, background check, and driving record review before start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate in-home hospice and end-of-life care.
- Practice veterinary medicine independently on the road while being supported by a mentoring team.
- Support grieving families with dignity and empathy during difficult moments.
- Participate in a schedule that respects your life and allows time for personal commitments.
