Job summary

Midland Care Connection in Topeka, KS is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to support our Hospice Program. You will provide as-needed skilled nursing care, assess patient conditions, manage pain and symptoms, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary hospice team to ensure compassionate, individualized care at home or in the inpatient hospice setting.

The ideal candidate holds a current RN license, completed nursing education from an accredited program, and has reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work PRN/as-needed hours.
• Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide as-needed skilled nursing care to support patients and families during end-of-life care.
• Assess patient conditions and manage pain and symptoms.
• Administer medications and treatments, and collaborate with the hospice team.
