Job summary

Ecumen Hospice - St Cloud is hiring a Registered Nurse RN for PRN/Casual roles covering Litchfield and South areas, with on-call support across the territory. The RN will triage patient needs by phone, visit patients with changing conditions, and admit patients as needed, delivering compassionate in-home care.

The role requires RN license in Minnesota, at least 1 year in post-acute care, strong communication and Microsoft Office familiarity, valid driver's license, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• 1 year nursing experience in post-acute care.
• Licensed RN in Minnesota with valid driver’s license.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Triage patient needs by phone and determine care needs.
• Make visits to patients with changing conditions.
• Perform admissions as necessary for hospice care.
• Develop and adjust care plans based on nursing diagnosis.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Communicate changes in patient status with the physician.
• Provide health care instructions to patients and families.
