Job summary

AccentCare Hospice IPC in Naperville, IL is hiring a Licensed Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts (7pm–7am). The role covers the AccentCare Hospice IPC unit in Naperville with a competitive hourly pay of $40–$45 plus shift differentials based on experience.

Three 12s per week with every-other weekend rotation provide a stable schedule. The ideal candidate has an RN license in the state of practice, hospice or related care experience, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
• CPR certification required.
• One year of hospice, home health, medical-surgical, or related care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care plans for hospice patients and families.
• Coordinate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure compassionate care and efficient resource use.
• Maintain accurate documentation and update patient records during shifts.
• Educate patients and caregivers on medications, personal care, mobility, and end-of-life preparation.
• Offer emotional and physical support to patients and participate in 24/7 care coverage as needed.
• Attend team meetings and participate in training and compliance with nursing regulations.
