Job summary

Advantage is a high-growth provider of essential rehabilitation and medical services to seniors across the post-acute care continuum. We are seeking a compassionate Hospice Registered Nurse to join our team in Cambria County, PA and surrounding counties.

The RN will deliver skilled nursing care in patients' homes or hospice facilities, assess needs, manage symptoms, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support comfort and dignity at end of life.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the practicing state or eligibility for NCLEX (new grad).
• Hospice, palliative care, or related field experience preferred but not required.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
• Knowledge of hospice regulations and practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to hospice patients in their homes or in a hospice facility.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications, monitor vitals, and manage symptoms for comfort.
• Educate and support patients and families on end-of-life care and symptom management.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals and community resources.
• Offer emotional support and counseling to patients and families.
