Job summary

Bristol Hospice Fresno, CA is seeking a compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a PRN hourly graveyard shift (Sat/Sun, 6pm–6am). Pay range is $29.00 to $31.00 per hour.

You will provide direct patient care, document care plans, educate families, and coordinate hospice services with the interdisciplinary team. California-licensed LVN with at least three years nursing experience preferred; flexibility is required. Join a team dedicated to compassionate end-of-life care.

Qualifications

• Must currently be licensed as an LPN/LVN in California.
• Three years nursing experience; hospice or medical/surgical preferred.
• Understand hospice philosophy and needs of the terminally ill.
• Flexible in work hours.
• Willingness to maintain knowledge of information systems and software.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as defined by State Nurse Practice Act, including end-of-life care.
• Document patient services accurately to reflect the plan of care.
• Educate patients and families about diagnosis and self-care.
• Coordinate hospice services with the inter-disciplinary team.
• Manage pain and symptom relief; evaluate patient responses to treatments.
