Job summary

Ennoble Care seeks a compassionate Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join its hospice team serving patients in Essex and Union County, NJ. You will provide essential in-home care to patients in hospice, enhancing quality of life and comfort during treatment.

The role includes assisting with activities of daily living, hygiene, mobility, meal support, and coordination with nursing staff to monitor patient conditions. CNA/HHA certification and NJ training compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Must have completed NJ homemaker-home health aide program and be certified by the New Jersey Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Care for census of 5-6 patients.
• Provides or assists in ADL activities; personal hygiene, grooming, mouth, skin care and nails.
• Assists with toileting, positioning and transfer activities, frequent turning and positioning of a bed bound patient.
• Assists with prescribed exercise and ROM activities.
• Assists with light housekeeping of the patient’s unit, bed linen changes and laundry.
• Feeds and assists with meals.
• Reports changes in patient condition to the Nurse.
