Duke Health’s Duke HomeCare & Hospice in Durham, NC is seeking a Nursing Assistant I to support direct patient care under the supervision of an RN/LPN. This role delivers compassionate, individualized care in patients' homes or at our inpatient hospice facility.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, assisting with activities of daily living, recording vitals, and supporting teaching and mobility. BLS and NA I certification required, valid driver's license, and orientation completion.

Qualifications

• Nursing Assistant I (NAI) certification is required.
• BLS certification must be maintained by end of orientation.
• Valid driver’s license with active auto insurance.

Responsabilités

• Assist with direct patient care under RN/LPN supervision.
• Prepare patients, equipment and supplies for procedures.
• Record vital signs and assist with activities of daily living.
• Support teaching and learning activities as directed by nursing staff.
