Job summary

Bluegrass Care Navigators is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our hospice team, providing compassionate in-home care and support to patients and families. You will work under an RN supervisor, focusing on comfort and quality of life, and accurately document observations and care provided.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma.
• Registered as State Nurse Aide with the Kentucky Board of Nursing.
• Completion of a recognized CNA training program.
• One year of hospital or nursing home experience preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions and document care.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to meet daily patient needs and maintain comfort.
• Observe patient’s condition and accurately report and document observations and services provided.
• Maintain a safe environment for the patient.
• Demonstrate empathy and hospice philosophy in patient care.
