Job summary

Agape Hospice Care in Woodstock, GA is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our hospice team. The primary function is to provide personal healthcare and support to patients in their homes, under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Candidates should have CNA license or nurse aide training, a high school diploma, and reliable transportation. We value empathy, teamwork, and a commitment to patient comfort and dignity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma Preferred.
• Nurse aide training/competency program approved by the state and listed in good standing on the state nurse aide registry; or State Licensure program that meets requirements.
• Must have CNA license.
• Must have current driver’s license.
• At least one year experience, preferred, as a Hospice Aide or Nursing Assistant in a hospital, nursing home, home health agency, hospice, or long-term care facility.
• Reliable transportation. Valid and current auto liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal healthcare and related services to patients in their place of residence.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and clean environment.
• Collaborate with patient, family, and supervisor; communicate observations to the RN.
