Job summary

Regional Hospice is seeking a CNA to support patients in the Joplin area. The role requires a current Missouri CNA license and strong patient-care skills, with emphasis on compassionate end-of-life support and coordination with nurses and social services.

Scheduling is primarily weekday hours with some after-hours as needed. Primary duties include direct patient care, documentation in EMR, and providing relief for caregivers.

Qualifications

• Active Missouri CNA license required.
• Strong patient care and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with EMR charting and mobile tools.
• Flexibility for FT hours with some after-hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality hospice care in coordination with the care team.
• Sits with patients for caregiver relief and during end-of-life hours.
• Follow the nursing plan as directed by the RN.
• Document visits promptly in the EMR.
• Respect patient and caregiver rights and privacy.
