Job summary

BJC Home Care is hiring a Certified Nurse Assistant to provide direct patient care in patients' homes across the service area. The role requires travel within Missouri, with mileage reimbursement and a Monday–Friday schedule, no weekends or on-call duties. CNA certification, a valid driver's license, and BLS are required or preferred.

Training and comprehensive benefits are provided. Experience in hospice/homecare is a plus, and mileage reimbursement is offered to support community travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• No Experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Automobile Insurance.

Responsibilities

• Obtains vital signs and other measurements as directed and documents findings promptly.
• Meets patient hygiene, comfort, nutrition, and hydration needs and documents as required.
• Recognizes and reports abnormal findings or changes in patient status to the nurse throughout entire shift.
• Implements care under the supervision of the nurse or Primary Case Manager. In Home Health, this can be done with a RN/PT/OT or Speech Pathologist.
