Gentiva seeks a compassionate Hospice Aide to provide essential personal care and emotional support to patients in home, assisted living, or inpatient settings. If you’re a dedicated CNA with a calling to comfort families, join our hospice care team.

You will perform direct personal care, assist with hygiene and mobility, help with meals and light housekeeping, and document visits while following safety protocols and collaborating with the team.

Qualifikationen

• Active CNA license in the state of employment.
• Current CPR certification.
• Six (6) months of direct patient care experience.
• Willingness to work in home, hospice facilities, or long-term care environments.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct personal care to terminally ill patients.
• Assist with personal hygiene, grooming, and toileting.
• Support safe mobility with walkers and wheelchairs.
• Help with meal preparation, feeding, and light housekeeping.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition.
• Offer emotional and psychological support to patients and families.
• Maintain accurate documentation of visits and participate in QA activities.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times.
