Job summary

Hearth Hospice is seeking a Per Diem Hospice Aide (CNA) in Brunswick to join our compassionate team. You will provide hands-on care, assist with daily activities, and partner with our nursing staff to uphold comfort, dignity, and quality of life for patients at the end of life.

The role requires a CNA certification and CPR if state-mandated, with a minimum of one year of experience in acute or long-term care (hospice experience a plus).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CNA certification current in state required.
• Minimum one year CNA experience in acute or long-term care; hospice experience is a plus.
• CPR certification if state-mandated.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized, compassionate care following the plan of care.
• Assist with personal care such as bathing, oral hygiene, bedding, clothing and grooming.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and support for patients and families.
• Support families with guidance and education.
• Maintain accurate documentation in patient home and agency records.
