Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of a federally compliant training program and competency evaluation.
• At least one year of experience as an aide in a healthcare setting.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and maintain professional relationships with clients and families.
• Commitment to ethical standards and agency policies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility assistance.
• Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry.
• Monitor and record vital signs as directed.
• Support clients with self-administered medications (no direct administration).
• Use safety equipment to ensure client well-being.
• Document services accurately and submit timely reports.
• Communicate changes in client condition to the RN supervisor.
• Participate in case conferences and ongoing training.
