Amedisys is seeking a hospice aide in Tuscaloosa, AL, for full-time day shifts. Join one of the largest home health and hospice companies in the U.S. to help patients heal at home with flexibility, purpose and growth.

You will provide personal care, assist with meals, housekeeping, safety, and observe changes in patient status under RN guidance. Competitive pay: $16–$18 per hour, benefits including medical plans, PTO and more.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current state CNA certification.
• CNA experience within the last two years.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsabilidades

• Provides personal care services to patients.
• Applies safety principles and proper body mechanics during activities of daily living and housekeeping.
• Plans and prepares nutritious meals and assists with feeding.
• Performs homemaking and environmental tasks as assigned.
• Observes and reports changes in patient status to the nurse.
• Assists with prescribed exercises and basic urine tests as directed.
