Job summary

CorsoCare Hospice is seeking a dedicated Hospice Aide to join our health services team in Medina/Brunswick. You will provide personal care and related home-based services under supervision of the RN/Case Manager and Clinical Manager, following an individualized care plan.

A STNA certification in Ohio and strong communication skills are required. The role emphasizes teamwork, compassion, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

Currently certified as an STNA in Ohio.
Minimum of 1 year of Hospice Aide experience in health care or home care.
CPR certification preferred but not required.
Must have valid driver’s license with insurance and reliable transportation.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Assist in maintaining a clean, healthful, and safe environment.
Assist the patient with ambulation and safe transfer techniques.
Assist with nourishment and fluid needs including meals and hydration.
Record temperature, pulse, and respiration; maintain infection control procedures.
Follow the care plan and provide emotional support to patient and family.
Communicate schedule changes to the Clinical Manager and adapt to staffing needs.
